As pachamama begins to drop her leaves and prepare for her winter sleep, the theme for this session is 'letting go'. We will be dropping this year's accumulated baggage and welcoming in the new energies. Autumn is a time to move inwards and prepare for the future. It is a sacred time for rebirth, transformation, releasing of the old, and envisioning the new.

WHAT IS CACAO?
Cacao is a powerful plant medicine that is considered to be the drink of the God's. She is a gentle, loving and feminine energy.
The cacao spirit creates feelings of deep love, bliss and euphoria.
She helps us to release emotional blockages that no longer serve us, to open our heart centres and to connect deeply with great spirit, with ourselves and with others. Cacao is all about love.

WHY ECSTATIC DANCE?
Dance is one of the oldest forms of prayer and practice in healing rituals and has been used in this way for thousands of years.
Dance can be used as a form of meditation as we head deeper into the music, losing all sense of time and space, and feeling universal connectedness as we get lost in the sounds and movements.
Dance helps us to release tension in the body, to shake off energies that no longer serve us, to shed old skin, release blockages and explore those mysterious and deep places inside of our being.
